Jennifer Belanger

Jennifer has her MS in Early Childhood General and Special Education from the graduate school at Pace University. She has received a reward specific to this program. Jennifer believes that children learn best when the learning environment is designed to meet the developmental needs of each child and one that encourages exploration, creativity and independence. The role of the educator is to create a strong environment that provokes children’s natural curiosity for new concepts and that meaningful interactions with children develop language, thinking skills, and wonder.

As a native New Yorker, she has had the pleasure of teaching for almost twenty years in NYC schools across the area. Jenny went to the Loyola School for high school and Binghamton University for her undergraduate degree. Outside of MSH, Jenny enjoys music, the outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
