Universal 3-K and Pre-K
New York City offers every three year old and four-year-old a free, full-day 3-K and pre-K seat through the Pre-K for All program. Pre-K programs provide education the years before kindergarten, giving your child an important foundation for success in school, home, and life.
The Universal 3-K and Pre-K programs at Manhattan Schoolhouse follow Reggio Emilia inspired learning techniques as it aligns with the NYC Department of Education curriculum. Manhattan Schoolhouse began its Universal Pre-K program in 2016, when it was awarded a service contract through the New York City Department of Education. We have been selected for our high-quality early childhood program that prepares children for kindergarten and the world at large. Our Universal 3-K and Pre-K Program follows Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum as it aligns with NYC Department of Education curriculum.
All children participate in weekly specials. Enrichment classes include music, dance, and language-Spanish. The children take daily walks throughout the neighborhood and play in the local parks.
Manhattan Schoolhouse offers breakfast and serves nutritious lunch and snack to the children.
