Prior to to joining us, Ivan began his career as an economist in Peru supporting families through his work at nonprofit agencies. He then moved to New York and earned his Master’s degree from Hunter College.

After graduating, Ivan worked at a Community Based Organization supporting children ages 0 to 18, and their families. He also served a substitute teacher for the New York City Department Of Education in the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn.
